We finally got to Spearfish SD on the 3rd of July in time to help my cousins, Joan (aka, "Bitsy") and Lorraine (aka, "Rainey") prepare a picnic for the group of "Eddy" cousins who would show up. To our pleasant surprise, Jack and Ann (nee Zimmerman) Freeman had driven over from Faith to spend the day!
Unfortunately, the Grumpy one was having so much fun that, although the Grand Mother had carried his camera in for him to use, he forgot to take pictures until everyone was gone except Bitsy and Rainey. Darn!Anyway, besides Bitsy and Rainey other people who were there were: Jim and Shirley Eddy, Jack and Ann Freeman, Kay and Virgil Simons and of course, the Grand Mother and yours truly, who hopes to do a better job in the future of this trip in photographically documenting it.
