At a fine sunset dinner at Anthony's Homeport this last Thursday evening, the Grand Mother and Grumpy had the pleasure of seeing one of our close friends become another year older.
Handyman, with his lovely wife, Elegant Lady, pictured here, would rather not have become the celebrity of the day. But such he was as we enjoyed sirloin steak cooked to perfection (the Grand Mother), filet of cod (Elegant Lady), cedar-planked wild Alaska salmon (Handyman and Grumpy). We finished off the meal with dessert, including Creme Broule' and bottomless cups of coffee. Visiting took most of the evening with the photograph nearly being forgotten until we began to rise to leave. A convenient bus-boy obliged by taking the photo; we aren't certain there wasn't an earthquake just as he pressed the shutter. At any rate, the photo is proof of an unforgettable evening and a hope for many more.
