An 87th Birthday Luncheon with Old Friends

1 November 2009; At the Olive Garden --

To celebrate the birthday of a dear old friend Margaret, the Grand Mother, with Grumpy, and another old friend, Lorna, met at the Olive Garden Restaurant for a relaxed luncheon and visit.

The birthday girl was suitably surprised by the gifts and attention; Lorna and the Grand Mother looked on as Marg unwrapped her gift.

Later, it was Lorna's turn to be surprised as she, being the hostess for this luncheon, unwrapped her gift of a box of chocolates. Grumpy kept his distance (from across the table), knowing how treacherous a female can be when in the possession of her very own box of chocolates.

At least that has been his experience!

Well, at least that is his story -- and he is sticking to it!!
