I couldn't resist showing off our newest Great Grandchild (number 22!), Elianna Rose. She was welcomed into the Gaines family (Papa John, Mama Amy, and brothers Malaki and Amos) on February 21st 2008, weighing in at a healthy 8 lbs, 7 oz with 3.5" feet and 21" of future basketball advantage. [Great Grandpa's surrogate championship?].We have seen only the photographs, but we are sure that she is as beautiful as shown here. And how about that smile!? No gas, Grumpy has been assured.
[NOTE: another Great Granddaughter means more possibilities for Grumpy to get in on some Lemon Meringue Pies as soon as they get old enough to recognize which ingredients belong in the mix and which ones do not!! Lessons from the Grand Mother will assure proper results.]
